The Cubs had an amazing and adventurous time at our Winter indoor camp. We hiked, ran, jumped and scampered everywhere. The Camps theme was Unity and togetherness and the Cubs enjoyed team games which brought them together like Pioneering, bouldering, wide games including capture the flag. Of course we had a BBQ with marshmallows on the open fire followed by hot chocolate (mmmm…). Thankfully everyone was exhausted so after a good nights sleep in the dorms, we challenged the Cubs to find their own way home using just a map and compass. Once back, they enjoyed rifle shooting, archery, scavenger hunt and an hotly contested paper airplane race. We finished with everyone getting wet and presenting in a play what they had learnt. An awesome experience for Cubs and leader!
